The humble origins of ProPlastix can be traced back to a lone single screw extruder sitting in the corner of a small warehouse in 1981. 

Just 5 years later in 1986, this tiny extrusion department was expanded to the current location of our main facility in Millersburg, PA.

Further growth necessitated the opening of another extrusion facility in Elizabethton, TN in 1999 and later the relocation of our Injection Molding department to Elizabethville, PA in 2004.  Since 2003 over $7,000,000 has been invested in equipment, tooling, and technological upgrades, increasing our capacity by more than 4,000,000 lbs annually.

Fast forward to 2006. ProPlastix International Inc. has a new mission.  That mission is to become a recognized industry leader, extending our capabilities to new customers and product lines, producing world class extruded and injection molded parts on an international basis.

From the early days of extruding 3000 lbs. of screen spline a day to our current capabilities that are in excess of a quarter-million lbs per day, the focus remains the same, to satisfy the customer.
